Piping Engineer-Chennai; Walk-In 9th

Responsibilities

• Active participation in various HSE layout reviews and other model review sessions.
• Coordinate with engineering and site survey teams for feasible plot selection.
• Optimize pipeline routing and conduct safety distance assessments.
• Attend site‑raised queries in a timely manner.
• Maintain permanent communication and interface with project engineering and construction teams.
• Provide assistance to other disciplines and participate in review meetings in accordance with project requirements.
• Ensure technical compliance, accuracy, quality, cost effectiveness, and execution of all aspects of piping and pipeline engineering during the design (EPC) stage.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 12 years of relevant experience in the Onshore Oil & Gas industry.
• Previous ADNOC experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of piping and pipeline engineering documents such as design basis, design calculations, schedules, raising technical queries, specifications, data sheets, stress analysis, and MTO.
• Working knowledge of piping and pipeline engineering drawings such as plot plans, GA, layouts, alignment sheets, and approach drawings.
• Knowledge of preparing Technical Bid Evaluation vendor packages.
• Relevant experience in pipeline, EPC, oil & gas, flowline, brownfield, upstream facilities, or wellhead projects.
• Preference for candidates with prior Gulf experience, especially those who have worked on ADNOC projects.
• Candidates with experience in metro line, building line, or road infrastructure projects are not eligible for this position.
