Foreman; Operation​/Electrical​/Mechanical - Sewage Treatment Plant

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and operational systems within the Sewage Treatment Plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment such as pumps, motors and aeration systems, identifying and resolving potential issues before they arise. Supervise a team of technicians and operators, providing clear instructions, training and performance evaluations to maintain a highly skilled and motivated workforce.

Monitor and analyze plant performance data, including flow rates, chemical usage and effluent quality, making necessary adjustments to optimize treatment processes.

• Possesses a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation for understanding complex systems.
• Holds relevant certifications such as Wastewater Treatment Operator Certification.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Sewage Treatment Plant.
• Exhibits a deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, and operational aspects of wastewater treatment processes.
