Position: Superintendent, Fleet Operations (Rig Move) one of our client in O&G

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and supervise jack‑up rig barge operations as required.
  • Provide marine operation support services for all offshore concession areas.
  • Plan, prepare, and attend to moving and positioning of self‑elevating jack‑up rigs and barges.
  • Manage rig move operations with operational status of the rig barge moves, diving mooring vessel, and tug availability in relation to the company’s oil & gas production, development and exploration activities.
  • Ensure service level agreements and KPIs are achieved.
  • Communicate directly with AOF drilling & maintenance teams for regular updates of planned rig barge move dates and with the offshore team to ensure all preparations are in place in good time.
  • Act as focal point for coordination of marine offshore operations related to rig barge moves, diving mooring vessels, tugs and rig movers within offshore concession areas and supervise controls of contracted vessel activities engaged in field operations.
  • Plan and prepare all required documents for the jack‑up move operation and submit them to the unit owner to obtain the Location Approval Certificate.
  • Coordinate closely with shipping for rig moves and marine spread availability.
  • Maintain document control and update records related to rig barge moves.
  • Raise alerts to focal points when conflicting rig barge moves occur to initiate rig barge move SLAs and decide move priority to minimize lost time, lost production and avoid compromising safety.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Mariner Certificate of competency (STCW 95/11/2 and amendments).
  • At least 15 years of experience in marine offshore operations, including tug master experience.
  • Knowledge of offshore operational areas, offshore towage, pilotage and positioning of jack‑up rigs.
  • Minimum 4 years of senior‑level offshore vessel operations experience.
  • Preferable experience with mooring vessels, AHTS and jack‑up barges.
