ADNOC Group is looking for a Lifting Equipment Engineer to enforce compliance with lifting management strategy across operational areas. The role ensures the safe handling, inspection, testing, certification, and maintenance of all lifting equipment, while providing technical expertise and oversight to guarantee safety, reliability, and adherence to ADNOC and international standards.

- Implement ADNOC lifting standards, codes of practice, and approved procedures across all sites.
- Ensure lifting operations are carried out in accordance with HSE policies and approved standards.
- Serve as technical focal point for lifting equipment, ensuring competency of users.
- Review and approve third‑party inspection action plans before certification.
- Participate in audits of lifting operations for both company and contractors.
- Investigate failures, incidents, or accidents involving cranes and lifting equipment.
- Review and approve lifting plans, ensuring site teams implement them effectively.
- Ensure compliance with LIMS, CP‑113, and that all lifting equipment is endorsed by ADNOC‑approved TPIA.
- Conduct audits and verifications of third‑party inspectors to ensure QA/QC compliance.
- Communicate and coordinate with relevant disciplines to enforce lifting activity controls on‑site.
- Lead risk assessments associated with lifting equipment and ensure safe working practices.
- Train and develop staff to improve lifting safety knowledge and technical competency.
- Contribute to department budgets, performance objectives, and cost control measures.
- Identify and implement improvements in lifting management systems and processes.
- Provide technical reports, MIS, and progress updates to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in lifting equipment management, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of lifting standards, inspection, and certification.
- Familiarity with ADNOC standards, ISO, and international best practices.
- Experience in audits, risk assessments, and investigation of lifting incidents.
- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
