• Supervise installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance schedules, prepare task lists, and oversee execution of maintenance programs for compressors, turbines, and pumps.
• Conduct technical evaluations, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective actions for chronic mechanical issues and equipment reliability improvement.
• Coordinate major and minor shutdown maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and cost efficiency.
• Prepare method statements and maintenance procedures for new and ongoing mechanical activities in alignment with plant shutdown plans.
• Review and analyze frequent equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Manage spare parts inventory, prepare proposals for stocking new items, and coordinate procurement for new materials and equipment.
• Support the mechanical design and commissioning phases of new projects, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards and international best practices.
• Participate in HAZOP and SIL validation sessions to enhance safety and operational reliability.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers to negotiate technical and commercial terms, ensuring high‑quality, cost‑effective engineering solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in engineering and maintenance of rotating equipment within large industrial or oil and gas organizations.
• Expertise in rotating machinery design, operation, and maintenance, including compressors, turbines, and high‑speed pumps.
• Familiarity with international design codes, equipment specifications, and construction standards.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, project coordination, and technical documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision‑making abilities.
• Sound knowledge of HSE standards and compliance practices.
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
