Position Overview:
Marine Operations Superintendent in Abu Dhabi, UAE leads offshore rig and barge movement planning and supervision for ADNOC Group's offshore oil and gas operations. Key Responsibilities- Plan, direct, and supervise jack‑up rigs and barge movements in ADNOC Offshore concession areas.
- Coordinate marine offshore operations including diving vessels, mooring vessels, AHTS, tugboats, and rig movers.
- Communicate regularly with drilling and maintenance teams regarding planned rig and barge move schedules.
- Prepare and submit required documentation for jack‑up move operations, including location approval certificates.
- Monitor marine spread availability and coordinate with shipping to ensure operational readiness.
- Supervise contracted vessels engaged in field operations to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Raise alerts on conflicting rig or barge move schedules to minimize lost time, production delays, and safety risks.
- Liaise with weather forecasting services to assess conditions and operational outlook trends.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting systems related to rig and barge moves.
- Ensure achievement of service level agreements and KPIs related to marine operations support.
- Prepare operational reports on field moorings and jack‑up movements.
- Masters Mariner Certificate of Competency STCW 95 II/2 and relevant amendments.
- Bridge Watch Officer Certificate of Competency STCW 95 II/1 or equivalent academic qualification in Marine Science.
- Minimum 15 years of marine offshore operations experience, including tug master experience preferred.
- At least 4 years of senior‑level offshore vessel operations experience.
- Proven expertise in offshore towage, pilotage, and positioning of jack‑up rigs and barges.
- Experience with mooring vessels, AHTS vessels, and offshore jack‑up units.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC Offshore operational areas and regulatory requirements.
- Completion of ADNOC Offshore approved training scheme targeted to the role.
