- Plan, schedule, and supervise installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of mechanical stationary equipment in the workshop and plant.
- Supervise piping and structural fabrication activities to ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE management systems and maintenance standards.
- Review technical drawings and sketches to confirm accuracy of specifications and materials.
- Provide technical advice, assign work to craft groups, and ensure tasks are executed safely and efficiently.
- Inspect work progress and final completion, preparing reports on quality and timeliness.
- Oversee workshop tool store operations and ensure availability of required tools and stock.
- Prepare material requisitions and monitor spare parts, equipment, and tool availability.
- Verify received materials meet technical specifications for both direct charge and stock items.
- Organize workshop resources and ensure safe and reliable execution of all activities.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising workshop activities, preferably within oil and gas or large industrial organizations.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, fabrication, and repair practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Skilled in planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Strong supervisory, problem-solving, and communication skills.
