Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD
- Convert hand sketches and concepts into detailed CAD drawings
- Revise drawings based on engineer, architect or client feedback
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications
- Create layouts, sections, elevations and detail drawings
- Maintain drawing records and document control
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers and site teams
- Perform quantity measurements and basic drafting calculations when required
- Print, plot and organize drawing submissions
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Understanding of technical drafting standards
- Knowledge of construction or engineering drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Time management and organizational skills
- Communication and teamwork abilities
- Diploma or degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 1–5 years of drafting experience (depending on role level)
