The role is in a high‑profile offshore development in Abu Dhabi, initially based in the Contractors Office and later relocating to an Asian country for 6–8 months before returning to UAE. The project duration is until 2028 with a possible extension.

Provide technical expertise and oversight for offshore pipeline systems during the FEED phase under Client PMC, ensuring design integrity, compliance with ADNOC standards, and alignment with safety, operability, and constructability objectives.

• Lead and review FEED deliverables for offshore pipelines, subsea flowlines, and risers; ensure routing, sizing, wall thickness design, and material selection meet ADNOC Offshore standards and applicable codes (ASME B31.4/B31.8, DNV-ST‑N001, DNV-ST‑N002, API).
• Review and approve EPC contractor FEED deliverables, calculations, and specifications; ensure adherence to Client specifications, HSE policies, and quality standards; participate in technical bid evaluations and vendor reviews.
• Embed integrity management in design: corrosion protection, cathodic protection, and coating; review stress, fatigue, and impulsion/buckling studies; validate piggability, maintenance, and long‑term operability; design for tie‑ins, crossings, and subsea interfaces.
• Coordinate with process, subsea, structural, geotechnical, marine, HSE, QA/QC, and project controls teams; align pipeline systems with offshore facilities.
• Support HAZID, HAZOP, and constructability reviews; identify pipeline‑specific risks; apply ALARP principles.
• Review installation methods (S‑lay, J‑lay, reel‑lay); evaluate vessel requirements, offshore execution strategies, seabed conditions, route surveys, and geotechnical data.
• Maintain design basis, specifications, engineering reports, technical registers, action trackers, and compliance documentation; provide regular updates to management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Pipeline Engineering or equivalent.

• Master’s degree is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of offshore pipeline design, subsea engineering, DNV, ASME, API codes and ADNOC standards.
• Proficiency in pipeline stress and integrity analysis tools.
• Experience in shallow‑water offshore projects in the Middle East is advantageous.

• Minimum 15+ years in the oil and gas sector.

• Minimum 5–7 years in offshore FEED / detailed engineering projects.

• Experience with WHT, subsea pipeline installation, and marine operations.

• Prior experience in PMC roles and ADNOC Offshore projects is highly preferred.
