HSE Engineering Lead for TA'ZIZ Projects in Abu Dhabi, UAE is responsible for leading Health, Safety, Security and Environmental management activities across the downstream project integration portfolio. This role ensures full integration of HSEIA and HSSE disciplines across feasibility, Pre-FEED, FEED, and EPC phases in alignment with ADNOC standards and international best practices within the Oil & Energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead HSE Engineering activities across HQ-managed TA'ZIZ downstream projects and joint venture initiatives.
  • Integrate HSEIA and HSSE requirements into feasibility studies, early design, Pre-FEED, FEED, EPC tenders, and technical bid evaluations.
  • Develop and monitor project HSE plans, schedules, and reporting frameworks to ensure compliance and performance transparency.
  • Coordinate with PMT, FEED teams, EPC contractors, consultants, and JV partners to cascade ADNOC GHSSE initiatives effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with ADNOC Incident Notification, Investigation and Reporting Standards.
  • Review project documentation to confirm alignment with ADNOC standards, AGES requirements, and international HSE regulations.
  • Lead and participate in HSE Committee meetings, providing updates on risks, progress, and mitigation strategies.
  • Support techno-economic feasibility assessments from an HSE perspective to enhance project safety and return on investment.
  • Identify and manage project and business risks, implementing mitigation plans across all project phases.
  • Promote continuous improvement of HSE processes in line with approved standards and best industry practices.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree or advanced HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 preferred.
  • 7 to 9 years of HSE experience within large-scale oil and gas or petrochemical capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of HSE management systems, regulatory frameworks, and international safety standards.
  • Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process safety management integration within project execution environments.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
