Position Overview

CAD Operator role supporting construction supervision activities for lighting and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. This position focuses on producing high-quality CAD drawings for roads, utilities, and infrastructure works, ensuring accuracy, compliance with standards, and timely delivery. • Prepare engineering drawings using CAD workstations, including layouts, arrangements, cross‑sections, isometrics, and assemblies based on sketches and design information.
• Ensure drawings comply with established standards, codes, and company procedures.
• Apply knowledge of relevant standards and codes while preparing technical drawings.
• Compile data and perform dimensional and routine calculations required for drawing preparation.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings, including supplier and manufacturer details.
• Prepare general arrangement drawings for road layouts, cross‑sections, setting‑out details, rough and final grading plans, traffic signs, road markings, and temporary traffic management layouts.
• Develop infrastructure drawings, including stormwater, wastewater, potable water, irrigation, electrical and telecom duct bank networks, and tie‑in connections.
• Prepare issued‑for‑construction drawings with detailed architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and landscaping information.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings align with project requirements.
• Review, revise, and update drawings based on feedback to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Perform quality control checks to verify drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related documentation.
• Support document management activities including uploading and downloading drawings, models, and submittals.

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• UAE Equivalency Certificate is required.
• Minimum 8 years of drafting experience on lighting and infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D, with Revit experience considered an advantage.
• Fluency in English with good written and verbal communication skills.
