- Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams for equipment testing, troubleshooting, routine surveillance, and start-up activities.
- Coordinate closely with Mechanical and Electrical teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with maintenance plans.
- Support critical maintenance activities, ensuring issues are resolved with minimal downtime.
- Evaluate manpower requirements for preventive, breakdown, and shutdown maintenance tasks.
- Assess workloads, monitor backlog, and coordinate with relevant teams to execute the maintenance work plan effectively.
- Monitor material, spare parts, consumables, and tools to ensure continuous availability of maintenance resources.
- Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and unplanned shutdowns, recommending corrective actions to improve reliability and availability.
- Provide input for major maintenance plans, upgrades, and obsolescence issues aligned with the division's long-term business plans.
- Offer technical guidance for new project development, mechanical design support, and commissioning activities to ensure cost‑effective and standards‑compliant implementation.
- Participate in defining technical requirements, technical bid evaluation, and inspection of received materials to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure work quality, safety, and adherence to standards.
- Bachelor degree in Instrumentation and Control, Electronics, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in instrument and control engineering and maintenance within a large industrial or oil and gas environment.
- Strong knowledge of field instruments, control systems, maintenance methodologies, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in maintenance planning, resource allocation, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering, failure analysis, and shutdown planning.
- Awareness of relevant industry standards and HSE requirements.
