Quantity Surveyor – AECOM Middle East – Abu Dhabi, UAE. AECOM Middle East is hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support cost planning, tendering, and contract administration for major construction and infrastructure projects.

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment.
- Develop and analyze bills of quantities for tender documentation.
- Review and evaluate contractor tenders and commercial submissions.
- Support preparation of contracts, procurement plans and project cost strategies.
- Conduct value engineering to enhance project cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with design teams to ensure cost-effective technical solutions.
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for competitive pricing.
- Measure quantities for cost plans, estimates and tender packages.
- Implement and monitor cost control procedures throughout project lifecycle.
- Assist with financial claims and contract administration.
- Evaluate variations, additions and omissions for monthly cost reporting.
- Prepare and negotiate change orders with clients and contractors.
- Perform market testing and analyze tender returns for benchmarking.
- Maintain and update project cost databases for future reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
- RICS certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant quantity surveying experience.
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication and negotiation abilities.
- Understanding of UAE construction contracts, procurement and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Organized, accurate and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative approach with cross-functional project teams.
- Adaptability to evolving project needs and industry trends.
