Senior Technical Engineer
Responsibilities
Type 1 reviewing and verifying IFC drawings, specifications, and contract documents; offering technical insights; performing site assessments; developing cost estimates; monitoring site operations and ensuring quality assurance; managing material evaluations, guaranteeing adherence to regulations, and addressing technical issues; overseeing drawing systems, generating technical queries (TQs), formulating Method Statements, recording progress, and managing close‑out documents (OMs, as‑builts) in close coordination with QA/QC;
communicating between project managers, the Technical Manager, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers; coordination between trades and disciplines; ensuring proper timely submission to the consultant; facilitating technical coordination meetings; attending technical and progress meetings; daily communication with the technical team; identifying on‑site problems, conducting root cause analysis, and applying solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field, and 8+ years of proven experience in a technical engineering role with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Fluency in English is mandatory; additional language skills are a plus, especially in multinational teams.
