Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
JOB PURPOSE
Manage and control all Discipline Engineering activities pertaining to the successful delivery of the HQ managed Project Integration portfolio, including both national projects and projects executed in cooperation with Joint Venture partners.
Manage the engineering development of a timely and accurate report for management on the status of the projects ongoing within the downstream project delivery program.
Manage the integration of all Discipline Engineering disciplines into feasibility study activities, early design, pre‑Feed, Feed, EPC tender and selection, ensuring implementation of ADNOC standards across all applicable projects.
Manage the development and application of best‑in‑class tools and techniques to find the technical solutions required to enhance project feasibility and return on investment.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead Discipline Engineering integration within the TAPI projects and provide direction and advice on all projects in the DS project funnel managed by TAPI, both nationally and in relation to Discipline Engineering matters and project management.
- Lead project teams together with other TAPI disciplines, contractors and partner staff to deliver optimal technical solutions for a wide range of petrochemical investment projects.
- Ensure designs and proposed solutions are achievable and consistent across the project portfolio, aiming to deliver maximum value to ADNOC.
- Ensure all Project Engineering Teams work in alignment with ADNOC Operations and external stakeholders, focusing on the best possible project outcome and highest likelihood of project implementation at FID.
- Ensure engineering teams identify, understand, manage and mitigate all project and business risks.
- Co‑operate with the Business Development function in Downstream on individual project opportunities for selection and development of new projects to implement optimal technical and structuring options.
- Support techno‑economic feasibility studies, including pre‑FEED and FEED studies of new projects, to deliver growth and economic value for Downstream projects.
- Participate in regular project meetings, provide an overview of progress, risks and trajectory, and address specific project questions.
- Provide the first level of escalation support for engineering issues that cannot be resolved at the project level.
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Engineering, Science, or relevant disciplines with supporting experience. Master’s degree in Engineering or Science is preferred.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills- 15 years of relevant experience in NOCs/IOCs, including at least 8 years in progressive project managerial/leadership positions.
- Major Project Management / Engineering experience is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of project planning and management.
