Lead Procurement Engineer

Overview

K  Abu Dhabi is currently seeking an experienced Lead Procurement Engineer to support a major PMC ADNOC project. The position will initially be based in Abu Dhabi with a planned relocation to an international project location. The Lead Procurement Engineer will be responsible for managing the full procurement cycle, developing strategic sourcing plans, coordinating with engineering and project management teams, handling vendor qualification, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with ADNOC standards, and supporting timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project requirements.

• Manage the full procurement cycle for the project, including planning, execution, and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Develop strategic sourcing plans aligned with project requirements and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with technical specifications and schedules.
• Handle vendor qualification, supplier selection, and negotiations to secure favorable terms and timely deliveries.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with ADNOC standards and company policies.
• Support timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is a MUST.
• Minimum overall 18+ years of experience in execution of FEED / EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas industry with minimum 5 years of experience in GCC region.
• Having minimum 5+ years of previous experience working in a similar position for international major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Having previous experience in handling ADNOC projects will be an added advantage.
