Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Associate HSE (Emirati National Only) who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Abu Dhabi – UAE.
Accountabilities
- Participate in establishing, implementation, maintaining and improvement of the HSE Local Management System according to International Standards, IMS and Local Procedures;
- Participate in the implementation of the STS activities in compliance with HSE Policies, HSE Legislative requirements, HSE Customer Requirements and HSE Management System (IMS);
- Participate in HSE hazard identification, HSE risk assessment and identification of necessary controls measures (Management Plan) within HSE Policies, applicable HSE Legislation, HSE Customer requirements and HSE Management System (IMS);
- Participate in HSE Legislative compliance audits to the HSE Legislative requirements;
- Participate in the implementation of HSE Programs for the achieving of the HSE objectives and targets;
- Participate in the implementation of HSE training;
- Participate in the identification and management of Local potential emergency situations;
- Participate in HSE audits, HSE inspection and HSE legal compliance audit;
- Participate in the investigation and analysis in case of HSE accidents and incidents (also in case of near misses);
- Participate in the identification of nonconformities and verification that the corrective/preventive actions are taken to mitigate it and avoid the recurrence;
- Participate in the HSE analysis, trending and reporting of HSE data;
- Participate in the implementation of HSE executive summaries and reports for annual management review meetings;
- Participate in maintaining the HSE Database for non conformity, corrective and preventive action;
- Participate in incident investigations and analysis;
- Assist in developing and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma
Languages
English Proficiency;
Arabic is a plus
