Senior Engineering Manager

We have partnered with a high-growth fintech company to hire a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering squads and help scale a modern, cloud-first technology platform.

This is a strategic and hands‑on leadership role, with a focus on team management, technical excellence, and delivery. You'll work closely with product and design to ship customer-facing features while continuously improving engineering practices and architecture.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers across multiple product streams
• Drive high standards in code quality, architecture, and agile delivery
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align engineering work with business priorities
• Identify technical challenges and steer teams toward scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and ownership
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and shaping the wider engineering organisation

• Proven experience managing high‑performing engineering teams in fast‑paced environments
• Strong technical background in software engineering (ideally across modern cloud, microservices, and CI/CD environments)
• Able to balance hands‑on guidance with strategic leadership
• Skilled in building and evolving team structures, development processes, and engineering culture
• Passionate about fintech or have experience building products in regulated environments
• Clear communicator who thrives in cross‑functional settings
