BIM Modeler

Responsibilities

• BIM Modeling: Develop detailed 3D plumbing models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks, adhering to project standards and specifications.
• Clash Detection & Coordination: Collaborate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, civil, structural) to identify and resolve clashes, ensuring integrated system designs.
• Drawing Production: Prepare and update coordinated shop drawings, spool drawings, and as-built drawings for plumbing systems.
• Technical Support: Assist engineers and project teams with model-related queries and provide support during design and execution stages.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of revisions, model updates, and project documentation related to plumbing systems.
• Quality Control: Ensure all models meet company quality standards and are consistent with project requirements.

  Coordinate with site engineers to reflect changes and updates in the BIM model based on field conditions or design modifications.

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in BIM modeling, with a strong focus on plumbing systems in construction projects.
• Technical Knowledge: Sound understanding of plumbing systems, fittings, installation requirements, and relevant international codes and standards.

  Proficiency in Revit (mandatory), AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Detail-Oriented: Ability to create accurate, high-quality models and drawings.
• Communication: Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively with engineers, consultants, and site staff.
