Technical Engineer

Gemini Technical Industries is seeking a highly motivated and experienced strong Technical Engineer strong to join our engineering team at our manufacturing facility in KEZAD Abu Dhabi.

• Prepare structural calculations using standard structural design software ensuring safety accuracy and compliance with applicable building codes and standards.
• Support architects and consultants in developing bespoke technical details using AutoCAD and BIM software.
• Assist the Engineering Department and subcontractors in preparing technical submittals including structural design packages, material submittals, RFIs, and related documentation for consultant and authority approvals.
• Provide technical support to the Project Sales team during project execution and bidding stages.
• Prepare engineering proposals, cost estimates, and detailed cost breakdowns based on project specifications.
• Ensure all design assumptions used in drywall and ceiling systems comply with project requirements and relevant standards.
• Maintain and update technical services databases, drawings and engineering details for efficient project execution and future reference.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies to obtain third‑party testing reports, certifications and technical approvals.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within building materials, drywall, ceiling systems, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and engineering calculations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering‑related software tools.
• Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD, BIM Software, STAAD Pro, SAP
  2000, ETABS.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
