Job Title: Contract Manager
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Employment Type: Full-time / 1-year contract, renewable
Industry: Rail / Infrastructure / PMC
Key Responsibilities- Manage and administer contracts in accordance with project requirements and contractual frameworks such as FIDIC.
- Lead contract strategy, compliance, and risk management across project phases.
- Oversee variations, claims, change management, contractual notices, and commercial correspondence.
- Provide contractual and commercial advice to project management and stakeholders.
- Lead negotiations with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual terms, KPIs, deliverables, and obligations.
- Coordinate with legal, planning, cost control, procurement, and project teams on disputes and claims.
- Prepare reports on contract status, risks, claims, variations, and commercial exposure.
- Support dispute avoidance, claim resolution, and contractual decision-making.
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 to 15+ years of experience in contract management or commercial management.
- Experience on large infrastructure, rail, construction, or mega projects is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and international contract standards.
- Proven experience managing contracts, claims, variations, negotiations, and commercial risks.
- Strong contractual and commercial acumen.
- Excellent negotiation, leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
