HSE Engineer – Job Number: 250002FH

Implement and maintain company HSE policy, procedures and the project HSE plan.

• Conduct HSE awareness sessions and toolbox talks to the workforce under the project on a daily basis.
• Ensure all PTW-required works are conducted in accordance with company PTW procedures.
• Ensure all HSE risk assessment control measures are performed properly.
• Inspect the project under her authority regularly to ensure all works are carried out safely.
• Report any incidents in the project such as unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near‑misses or accidents.
• Have the right to stop unsafe or nonconforming works that violate the project HSE plan, company procedures or HSE standards.
• Supervise and lead subcontractor HSE officers.
• Record HSE key performance indicators monthly and issue HSE reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in HSE roles within the construction/contracting industry.
• Certification: NEBOSH IGC (mandatory), OSHA, IOSH or equivalent preferred.
• Good knowledge of local HSE regulations and international best practices.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety training.
• TAQA approved as an HSE engineer.
