Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for marine projects and operations.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare technical and commercial evaluations of quotations and proposals.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor project schedules, procurement status, and budget requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain procurement records and project documentation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to support project execution.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the marine, offshore, dredging, shipbuilding, or maritime industry.
- Strong knowledge of marine equipment, materials, and procurement processes.
- Experience in project coordination, planning, and execution.
- Ability to prepare technical specifications, RFQs, bid evaluations, and procurement documentation.
- Experience dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Good understanding of marine industry standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering project management software.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
