• Conduct innovative research in structural 3D printing including metals, concrete, and composite materials
• Develop computational mechanics models and perform structural topology optimization
• Implement vision-based structural health monitoring systems
• Design and evaluate autonomous and drone-based infrastructure inspection and vibration monitoring systems
• Perform finite element modeling, simulation, and advanced computational analysis
• Participate in laboratory testing at material, component, and structural levels
• Publish research findings in high-impact peer-reviewed journals and international conferences
• Mentor undergraduate students and support graduate research supervision
• Contribute to research grant proposal development and multidisciplinary collaborations

• PhD in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, or related field
• Within five years of completing PhD at time of appointment
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience in mentoring or supervising undergraduate or graduate students
• Proficiency in programming using Python and C , with experience in computational modeling
• Experience in finite element analysis and structural simulation
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in additive manufacturing, machine learning, AI, computer vision, robotics, or UAV applications is advantageous
