- Lead and manage project planning, scheduling, cost control, value assurance, and scope management to maintain project excellence
- Provide inputs for development of project execution strategies and plans to support effective project delivery
- Review and challenge schedules and cost submissions from contractors and consultants to minimize impact of changes
- Ensure required accuracy of cost estimates and schedules and develop viable project budgets aligned with execution strategies
- Identify potential criticalities affecting project objectives and prepare early mitigation plans
- Review planning, monitoring, and control requirements in contractual documents prior to finalization
- Monitor project progress by mapping actual versus planned performance and recommend corrective actions to meet schedule and budget targets
- Provide execution and planning data to project accounting to support accurate cash flow planning and payment validation
- Establish procedures to validate progress certificates and ensure proper payment management
- Maintain project planning and cost databases to ensure availability of reliable project information
- Manage project reporting including performance against KPIs to keep senior management informed of progress and risks
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- Professional certification such as PMP or PMI-SP is preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in project planning and cost control within a large industrial organization
- At least 5 to 6 years of experience in a managerial role with hands‑on responsibility for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
- Prior experience in the oil and gas sector is strongly preferred
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling methodologies, and cost control systems
- Ability to assess contractor submissions, manage change impacts, and support execution strategies
- Advanced reporting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of project governance, controls, and performance management
- Lead critical planning and cost control functions for major energy projects in Abu Dhabi
