Technical Engineer

The Landscape Technical Engineer is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating landscape drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project and authority standards. The role supports the landscape manager, consultants, and site teams from design through project handover.

• Prepare and review shop drawings, as‑built drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Coordinate with CAD draftsmen on detailed hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and grading drawings.
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical proposals.
• Verify material compliance prior to procurement and gather required technical data from suppliers.
• Provide technical support during execution of landscape works.
• Inspect site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings.
• Resolve technical issues arising on‑site.
• Prepare and review irrigation system drawings and hydraulic calculations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for irrigation equipment and layouts.
• Attend technical meetings with consultants, clients, and internal teams.
• Follow up on consultant comments and manage re‑submissions.
• Maintain logs for drawings, submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain complete project documentation.
• Support preparation of O&M manuals, warranties, as‑built files, and progress reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil/Agriculture Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years landscape construction/design experience (GCC preferred).
• Strong knowledge of softscape, hardscape, materials, and irrigation systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant design software.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to interpret drawings and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying and changing demands.
