Senior Draftsman - EPC

The Senior Draftsman Civil and MEP will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings and coordinating all drafting activities related to civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The role requires close coordination with engineers, project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings and documentation.

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction drawings for civil, architectural, and MEP works.
• Develop and revise layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed engineering drawings based on project requirements.
• Coordinate civil and MEP drawings to identify and eliminate clashes before construction.
• Prepare material submittal drawings and authority submission drawings where required.
• Review consultant comments and incorporate revisions into approved drawings.
• Assist engineers in preparing technical drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control procedures are followed.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions and existing conditions.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure drawings reflect current site conditions and approved changes.
• Prepare as-built documentation and handover drawing packages upon project completion.
• Ensure all drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and project specifications.
• Support tendering and estimation teams with quantity take-offs and preliminary drawings when required.

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 to 10 years of experience as a Draftsman with substantial exposure to both Civil and MEP works.
• Strong experience in construction projects including buildings, camps, commercial facilities, industrial facilities, and infrastructure works.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with Revit, BIM, Navisworks, or other BIM software is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of civil, architectural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems.
• Ability to independently prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Strong knowledge of local authority requirements and construction standards in the UAE.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while meeting project deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
• UAE experience is mandatory.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
