Senior Engineer - Material; Rail
Job Description
To oversee material selection, testing, and compliance to ensure quality and durability of construction works.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve material submittals in line with specifications
- Conduct inspections and testing of construction materials
- Ensure compliance with international standards and project requirements
- Monitor supplier quality and material performance
- Investigate material related issues and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate with site and laboratory teams for testing programmes
- Maintain records of approvals, tests, and certifications
- Minimum of ten years of experience in material engineering within construction or infrastructure projects
- Experience in rail or heavy civil works is advantageous
Technical or engineering related university degree, preferably in civil or materials engineering.
