Periodical inspection, testing and documentation of welding equipment, accessories and electrode ovens as per the internal procedure # AID-600 & AID-601 to ensure that they are maintained and operational as per the norms and standards
Periodical inspection, testing and documentation of power generators, switch boards and associated control and protective systems as per the internal procedure # AID-603 to ensure that they are maintained and operational as per the norms and standards
Periodical inspection of substation and distribution boards/panels
Inspect the electrical equipment during the installation, commissioning and testing conducted by the supplier for the newly acquired equipment, plant and installations
Carry out scheduled visits for inspection of the coating yards, fabrication yards and workshops within the main base, onshore sites, vessels and report the findings to supervisor
Assess the electrical equipment condition which are proposed for auction/scrap and create the assessment report
Carry out random inspection during electrical repair/overhaul of selected equipment to ensure the ongoing jobs are carried out as per the procedure
Inspect the electrical equipment for corrective repair, findings to be address in job card and witness the completion of job based upon findings
Qualifications
Three-year diploma post-secondary in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Electrical equipment field
