PMC PTW Coordinator
Role Overview
PMC PTW Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily site activities on ADNOC Onshore projects, implementing and enforcing the ADNOC Work Management System (WMS) Permit‑to‑Work (PTW) requirements, ensuring safe work execution and compliance with ADNOC’s HSE policies and procedures. This role bridges site operations, contractors, and permit systems to ensure work is authorized and monitored correctly before, during, and after execution.
Location:
Onshore site in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
- Act as the authorized Permit Issuer in accordance with ADNOC PTW procedures.
- Review, approve, issue, suspend, and close work permits (Hot Work, Cold Work, Confined Space, Excavation, Electrical, Lifting, etc.).
- Verify that all required risk assessments, JSA, method statements, and isolation certificates are approved before permit issuance.
- Ensure permits are valid, displayed at work sites, and strictly followed.
- Coordinate daily activities between Operations, Construction, HSE, and Contractors.
- Conduct site inspections before and during work to ensure compliance with permit conditions.
- Identify conflicting activities and ensure SIMOPS are properly managed.
- Stop unsafe work and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC Codes of Practice, HSE Standards, and Project Specifications.
- Participate in toolbox talks, PTW briefings, and safety meetings.
- Support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper isolation (LOTO), gas testing, and safety precautions are in place.
- Maintain accurate records of issued permits, isolations, gas test results, and site logs.
- Prepare daily PTW status reports and submit to PMC / Client.
- Ensure permit documentation is archived as per ADNOC requirements.
- Act as focal point for PTW‑related queries on site.
- Provide guidance to contractors on ADNOC PTW requirements.
- Coordinate with Area Authorities, HSE Officers, and Operations teams.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas onshore projects.
- At least 5 years’ experience as Permit Issuer / Area Authority.
- Strong experience on ADNOC Onshore projects is mandatory.
- ADNOC Permit to Work (PTW) Issuer / Area Authority Certification.
- H2S Awareness.
- IOSH / NEBOSH certification (preferred).
- First Aid & Fire Fighting training.
