What Will You Do
As an Estimation Engineer specializing in Fire Protection, you will play a crucial role in delivering budgetary proposals and preparing competitive bids that meet customer requirements during project planning and execution stages.
How Will You Do It- Support Consultants, PMCs, EPCs, and End Users by preparing budgetary proposals during the FEED stage.
- Manage and organize tender-related files, quotations, and associated documents.
- Conduct site surveys, attend bid-clarification meetings, and compile detailed reports.
- Review tender documents, seek clarifications, and ensure thorough understanding in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Engage with sub-vendors and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company procurement policies.
- Estimate costs for products, engineering, labor, and project management, collaborating with internal teams for accuracy.
- Prepare risk registers and allocate costs where necessary, ensuring stakeholder approvals are obtained.
- Submit structured proposals aligned with customer requirements and company policies.
- Participate in techno-commercial negotiations and ensure seamless project handovers to the operations team.
- Integrate accountability, safety, integrity, and trust by ensuring all processes adhere to Johnson Controls’ standards.
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Fire Protection Systems. - Technical Expertise:
Knowledge of NFPA standards, local codes, ADNOC requirements, and Oil & Gas industry practices. - Software Proficiency:
Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Suite. - Skills & Attributes:
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and effective communication skills. - Proven ability to manage multiple tenders and collaborate with diverse teams.
