Mechanical Team Leader – UAE

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Leader to join our Building engineering team and take a strategic leadership role in driving the growth and development of our Mechanical team. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape a dynamic and expanding team, delivering innovative, sustainable mechanical engineering solutions across a wide range of large‑scale, multidisciplinary projects.

• Lead, inspire, and grow a talented team of mechanical engineers and modelers, building a strong technical culture and expanding our Mechanical capability in the UAE.
• Take ownership of the delivery of HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, and drainage systems, ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and budget adherence.
• Ensure all designs comply with NFPA standards and local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
• Prepare and review technical reports, authority submission documents, and liaise directly with local authorities to ensure smooth approvals.
• Apply advanced tools for heat load calculations, energy modeling, and BIM (Revit) to enhance design quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Business Group Leader on strategic planning, proposals, resource management, and business development.
• Act as a mentor and role model, fostering a collaborative, knowledge‑sharing environment that supports professional growth and team cohesion.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, with a strong background in mechanical design and delivery of complex, large-scale projects.
• Demonstrated success in leading and scaling engineering teams, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Deep technical expertise in mechanical systems and a passion for innovation and sustainability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design/analysis software.
• Experience in Middle East projects is essential.
