The project:Mace is supporting the delivery of a large‑scale, next‑generation digital infrastructure programme in the region, working alongside a leading developer in the data centre sector. The project brings together complex design coordination, fast‑paced delivery and rigorous governance to meet the demands of a mission‑critical environment. Our team is applying global best practice in programme, project and commercial management to help shape resilient, future‑ready infrastructure at scale.
You’llbe responsible for:
- Manage and oversee the delivery of all MEP construction activities, ensuring alignment with programme, budget, and quality standards.
- Act as the key interface between contractors, consultants, and the PMC team on all MEP‑related matters.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate MEP works across disciplines, ensuring effective integration with civil, structural, architectural, and specialist systems.
- Review and validate MEP shop drawings, method statements, and technical submittals.
- Support the transition from design into construction, ensuring MEP systems are fully coordinated, buildable, and aligned with delivery requirements.
- Identify and manage risks related to MEP delivery, implementing mitigation strategies to maintain programme milestones.
- Champion health, safety, and environmental standards across all MEP activities on site.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover processes, ensuring systems are delivered in line with performance requirements.
- Contribute to project reporting, including progress updates, key risks, and technical issues for senior stakeholders.
- Support commercial activities including change management, variation assessment, and cost control relating to MEP packages.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience operating as an MEP Manager on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record working within PMC/consultancy or contractor environments on MEP‑intensive developments.
- Strong understanding of MEP construction, coordination, and installation processes across multiple systems.
- Experience supporting projects transitioning from design into construction/delivery phases.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning processes for complex MEP systems.
- Strong understanding of international standards and codes, with Middle East experience highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to drive contractor performance.
