Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Material Engineer in Abu Dhabi responsible for material research, testing, and selection for construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct material research, testing, and selection for construction projects.
- Analyze material behavior and evaluate performance under different conditions.
- Perform technical evaluations of materials and applications.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards and project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution.
- Provide recommendations for improving material performance and application processes.
- Support the development of effective material solutions for construction projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Materials Science or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Material Engineer in Infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in preparing and submitting material submittals and method statements to relevant authorities such as ADM, TAQA, and ITC.
- Previous approval and/or working experience with ALDAR project would be considered an advantage.
- Sound knowledge and hands‑on experience in site laboratory activities, testing procedures, and material quality control.
- Proficient in Research and Development (R&D) related to construction materials
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to assess material performance
