Assist the Lead Process Engineer in managing all process engineering activities related to the IA/PA Upgrade EPC scope.
Support planning execution and coordination of process design tasks.
Perform first-pass reviews of EPC contractor deliverables prior to Lead Engineer review.
Maintain tracking sheets for P& comment logs inter-discipline interfaces and process safety actions.
Perform first-pass technical review of EPC deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass balances, IA/PA load calculations and equipment datasheets.
Identify deviations, inconsistencies, missing data and non-compliance prior to Lead Engineer or ADNOC submission.
Prepare and verify process calculations including line sizing, pressure drop, compressor operating envelopes, receiver sizing and dryer performance.
Support hydraulic study verification under guidance of the Lead Process Engineer.
Assist in preparation and participation in HAZID, HAZOP, ENVID and SIL/LOPA workshops.
Record action items, track close-out and ensure outcomes are incorporated into P&IDs and process documents.
Support brownfield engineering activities including tie-ins, isolation philosophy, temporary bypass routing and shutdown documentation.
Participate in offshore/site surveys and update as-built drawings based on site findings.
Assist in reviewing compressor start/stop logic, standby switching, dryer sequencing and IA/PA operating sequences.
Prepare comparison sheets between EPC logic and ADNOC standard templates.
Coordinate technical inputs with EPC teams, OEMs (Compressors, Dryers, DCS, ESD, F&G) and ADNOC Ops/PMC.
Maintain interface registers and support timely resolution of Technical Queries (TQs).
Verify EPC compliance with ADNOC standards, Basis of Design, project specifications and contractual requirements.
Maintain compliance trackers and elevate issues to the Lead Process Engineer.
Prepare process‑related pre‑commissioning checklists (IA/PA testing, leak tests, logic checks).
Support commissioning procedures FAT/SAT activities and system performance validation.
Prepare and update PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, calculations and technical reports.
Maintain document revisions through Aconex/EDMS.
Assist with TQs, RFIs, weekly progress reports and as‑built documentation.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum 510 years of experience in oil and gas projects (offshore experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of process engineering principles and oil & gas facilities.
Familiarity with ADNOC standards and specifications is a strong advantage.
Experience working with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Good understanding of process safety and risk assessment methodologies.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficiency in engineering documentation and reporting tools.
