RoleThe CRC Senior Engineer is accountable for ensuring end‑to‑end consistency, clarity and traceability of contractual commitments and customer requirements, supporting the product road map deployment and lifecycle of the turbofan propulsion systems throughout the full lifecycle (from pre‑contract phase to program execution and in‑service support/MRO). The role ensures that market needs, customer expectations and platform integration requirements are translated into clear product objectives, priorities and development pathway.
Acting as the voice of customer and first‑rank partners, the engineer serves as the primary interface with platform customers and OEM partners.
- Supports contract establishment and negotiation with customers and OEM partners
- Translates contractual clauses into actionable requirements, ensuring alignment with technical scope, commercial commitments and delivery obligations
- Monitors contract compliance throughout the program lifecycle and associated contracts: pre‑development, development, joint‑venture (if any), main suppliers or related departments (Advanced Manufacturing, Supply Chain), Capability Building and Transfer of Technology (if any)
- Supports coordination and organization of activities at interfaces between OEM partners and platform customers, defining and managing interfaces in collaboration with Turbofan and Powertech departments, and resolves conflicts
- Coordinates workshops and reviews
- Captures and consolidates customer requirements and mission needs, translating them into product specifications and technical/engineering requirements in close interaction with System Engineering Lead, EDGE commercial line and Industrial Lead, ensuring consistency and completeness of the requirements baseline
- Ensures full traceability from requirements to verification
- Monitors compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards and internal quality processes
- Minimum 10 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
- Solid understanding of turbofan architectures (turbofan, modules, sub‑systems and their integration constraints), performance drivers and technology road maps
- Experience in program management, program leadership, system approach
- Exposure to customer, OEMs, authorities, or large‑scale development programs
- Knowledge of V&V, airworthiness and certification frameworks (such as FAA Part 33, 21, CS‑E, CS‑25)
- High customer orientation and business mindset
- Strong product vision understanding and relationship/contract management
- Ability to analyze and structure complex information into actionable decisions under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across engineering, manufacturing, MRO, supply chain, and commercial teams
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
