POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.
RoleThe Industrialization & Manufacturing Engineer supports the coordination, monitoring and control of production plan to ensure delivery, risk management, quality and cost performance. He ensures the industrial maturity of turbofan modules/components and acts as an interface with the Advanced Manufacturing Department in charge of NPIs, with the Product Engineering, Product Management, Supply Chain & Quality. She/He ensures appropriate coordination with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Support the industrialization plan and KPI (OTD, FTR, including cost assessment)
- Participate in the Master Production Schedule, capacity/workload and priority arbitration
- Manage risk, identify critical path and define what-if scenarios
- Participate in manufacturing readiness reviews (MRR)
- Ensure alignment between engineering definition and manufacturing capabilities
- Support supplier qualification and industrial audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in technical reviews (PDR, CDR, ... certification reviews)
- Monitor Production Progress & Performance
- Deal with Manufacturing non-conformity and acceptance matrix
- Support compliance demonstrations and certification documentation
- Ensure supply chain & production logistics coordination
- Minimum 5 years of experience within turbofan propulsion, aerospace, or other complex engineered systems
- Solid understanding of turbofan architectures (sub-systems and their integration constraints), performance drivers and technology interfaces (sensors, equipment…)
- Experience in manufacturing and production, MPIs, Validation and Qualification
- Knowledge of AS9100, production systems, and industrial quality
- Agile / Lean methodology knowledge and experience (Green-Belt/Black-Belt)
- Engineering degree with manufacturing background, production.
- Ability to analyze and structure complex information into actionable product decision under pressure with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment, across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and commercial teams
- Excellent communication skills, team player
