Automation Engineering Manager (Automation Energy Industries division, Abu Dhabi, UAE) – onsite.

• Contribute to customer satisfaction by planning and executing service work as per customer order and expectations and ensuring customer retention by delivering superior customer experience.
• Perform complex field service tasks, identify and resolve high‑level technical problems, and analyze issues remotely or on site across service categories and products within certification scope. Provide advice and recommendations internally and to customers within own area of expertise.
• Plan and prepare site work for larger project teams, manage related subcontractors at site, coach technicians and engineers, and supervise complex site activities.
• Identify improvement needs and potential solutions for work methods and products, drive improvement actions in own responsibility area, and identify new service business opportunities for ABB in close cooperation with customers and other ABB teams.

• Hands‑on and extensive field services experience in the Automation industry (minimum 5 years).
• Highly skilled in ABB 800xA with AC 800M/Symphony Plus (S+) systems and experienced with ICSS and/or PMS/SCMS automation systems in Oil & Gas and Power & Water markets.
• Proficient in industrial communication protocols such as IEC 61850, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, IEC 101, IEC 104.
• Knowledge of ABB 800xA with AC 800M/Symphony Plus, industrial networking, and cybersecurity solutions for control systems.
• Strong customer collaboration and communication skills.
• Degree in Engineering with expertise in automation systems and process applications across Oil & Gas and Power & Water industries.
• Proficient in English for internal teams, customers, and external stakeholders.
