Senior FPGA Designer

We are seeking an experienced Senior FPGA Designer to join a growing engineering team in Abu Dhabi. • Lead the development and testing of complex FPGA designs using VHDL/Verilog
• Drive projects from concept, through simulation and implementation, to verification and documentation
• Contribute to the development and improvement of efficient engineering processes and workflows
• Support the evaluation, integration and deployment of control boards and hardware platforms
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer‑facing projects where required
• Design, simulate, code and verify FPGA solutions for software‑defined radio (SDR) applications
• Develop and optimise digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms
• Perform timing analysis and optimisation for high‑speed, complex FPGA architectures

• BSc or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Strong proven experience in FPGA development using VHDL and/or Verilog
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as TCL and Bash
• Python experience is highly desirable
• Experience working with RF test equipment is advantageous
• Familiarity with embedded systems is a plus
• Minimum 10+ years of relevant hands‑on FPGA engineering experience
