Engineering Project Manager – Abu Dhabi, UAE

RINA is recruiting an Engineering Project Manager to join its Energy Engineering Project Management team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading multidisciplinary engineering and consulting projects for complex oil and gas energy infrastructure across the Middle East.

• Project Planning & Execution
  :
  Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, identify activities, resources, dependencies, and maintain project schedules.
• Client Management
  :
  Serve as the primary point of contact, understand client needs, provide regular updates, progress reports, and status communications.
• Team Leadership
  :
  Build, lead, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, assign responsibilities, foster engagement and accountability, monitor performance.
• Budget & Cost Control
  :
  Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs and expenditures, ensure delivery within approved budget constraints.
• Risk Management
  :
  Identify project risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, address challenges promptly.
• Quality Management
  :
  Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, implement QA/QC processes.
• Contract Administration
  :
  Interpret and manage contractual terms, ensure compliance with contractual requirements, manage contract changes.
• Stakeholder Communication
  :
  Facilitate communication among project teams, clients, and stakeholders; lead meetings, resolve issues, define corrective actions.
• Documentation Management
  :
  Maintain accurate, complete, up‑to‑date project documentation and records.

• Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent; alternatively Master’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical project management within a consultancy or energy sector; 1–3 years in an associate project management role acceptable.
• Professional project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile (CSM) desirable.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, stakeholder management, and multi‑priority handling skills.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile) and understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
• Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma, risk assessment, contracts, client management, and vendor relations.
• English proficiency mandatory;
  Arabic speaking considered a plus.
