Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RO Project Engineer with hands‑on experience in Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment systems and Sewage Treatment Plants (STP) to support project execution, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities. The role will be responsible for supervising RO and STP projects, optimizing plant performance, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring water quality standards, and coordinating with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to achieve successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Project Execution / Supervision – Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities of RO and STP systems; coordinate with project teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth project execution; monitor progress and ensure activities are completed as per technical specifications and timelines; provide technical support during implementation and operational phases.
- RO / STP System Operation – Monitor and optimize the performance of RO and wastewater treatment plants; ensure efficient operation of pumps, piping systems, filters, pressure vessels, membranes, and treatment equipment; review plant performance parameters and recommend improvements; ensure systems operate within required quality and performance standards.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Troubleshoot RO system issues including pumps, piping systems, filters, pressure vessels, RO membranes, and chemical dosing systems; perform and supervise preventive maintenance activities; conduct troubleshooting and corrective actions to minimize downtime; support equipment reliability improvement initiatives.
- Chemical Dosing – Water Quality Management – Calibrate and adjust chemical dosing systems; monitor chemical consumption and optimize dosing requirements; conduct water quality testing and chemical analysis; analyze test results and recommend corrective actions; ensure compliance with water treatment standards and operational requirements.
- RO Membrane Management / Clean-in-Place (CIP) – Perform and supervise clean‑in‑place procedures for RO membranes; monitor membrane performance and identify fouling/scaling issues; recommend membrane cleaning, replacement, or optimization measures.
- Reporting & Documentation – Prepare technical reports, operation reports, and maintenance records; maintain accurate documentation of plant performance, inspections and corrective actions; provide regular updates to project management and clients.
- Safety & Compliance – Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements; follow approved procedures and industry best practices; promote safe working practices during installation, operation and maintenance activities.
- Strong technical understanding of RO and STP systems.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of water treatment plants.
- Ability to analyze plant performance and implement improvements.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage site activities.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of industrial RO water treatment plants, sewage treatment facilities, water and wastewater infrastructure projects, operation and maintenance contracts, and large‑scale water treatment projects.
