Land Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and topographic surveys using surveying instruments and GPS equipment
• Measure and record land boundaries, elevations, and site features accurately
• Prepare survey maps, reports, sketches, and legal descriptions
• Interpret construction plans, site layouts, and engineering drawings
• Establish control points and verify project alignment and dimensions
• Ensure survey data complies with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers
• Operate and maintain surveying equipment including total stations, GPS receivers, and levels
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in survey data and site measurements
• Support construction projects by providing accurate layout and staking services
• Maintain accurate records of survey data and field notes
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures during field operations

• Proficient in operating GPS/GNSS survey equipment for precise positioning and data collection
• Experienced in using total station instruments for boundary, topographic, and construction layout surveys
• Skilled in conducting drone (UAV) surveys for aerial mapping, photogrammetry, and site inspections
• Able to process and analyze survey data using industry‑standard surveying and CAD software
• Knowledgeable in equipment calibration, field data collection, and quality control procedures
