BIM Engineer-Structural

Reports To: Senior BIM Engineer / BIM Coordinator

iTech Engineering Consultancy is seeking a skilled and motivated BIM Engineer – Structural to join its Digital Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining structural BIM models, producing project deliverables, and supporting multidisciplinary project coordination for a wide range of building and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of structural engineering principles, BIM workflows, and model‑based project delivery, with hands‑on experience in Autodesk Revit Structure and related BIM tools.

• Develop and maintain accurate structural BIM models for buildings and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare structural BIM deliverables including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and quantity take‑offs.
• Ensure project models comply with client requirements, company standards, and project BIM protocols.
• Support structural design teams throughout project development and delivery stages.
• Produce coordinated construction documentation directly from BIM models.

• Create and update structural BIM models based on engineering calculations, design drawings, and project specifications.
• Model reinforced concrete, structural steel, precast, and composite structural systems.
• Generate and maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports from BIM models.
• Ensure model data accuracy and consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate structural models with Architectural, Civil, MEP, and Infrastructure disciplines.
• Participate in model review and coordination meetings.
• Assist in identifying and resolving clashes and model interface issues.
• Support Senior BIM Engineers and BIM Coordinators during multidisciplinary coordination activities.

• Perform self‑checks and quality reviews of BIM models before submission.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP), project standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain proper file structures, naming conventions, and Level of Development (LOD) requirements.
• Report technical issues and propose solutions to improve model quality and efficiency.

• Contribute to the development of BIM standards, templates, and workflows.
• Stay updated with BIM technologies and industry best practices.
• Support knowledge sharing within the BIM team.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of BIM experience in structural engineering projects.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, mixed‑use, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
• UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
