Sr. Engineer - Piping - Walkin Chennai

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of complex piping systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards.
• Perform detailed stress analysis and hydraulic calculations for piping networks, optimizing for efficiency and safety.
• Develop and review piping layout drawings, isometrics, and material take‑offs (MTOs) with a keen eye for constructability.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, and structural engineers, to integrate piping designs seamlessly.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in piping design engineering, preferably in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors.
• Proficiency in industry‑standard piping design software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS, or E3D.
• Strong understanding of ASME B3, B1, API, and other relevant international piping codes and standards.

• Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, or Onshore projects.
• Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred.
• Clean‑shaven policy applicable.
• Maximum age limit is 49 years.
• For managerial positions, the age limit may be extended to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field mandatory for managerial and senior positions.
