Job Overview
The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University seeks a research assistant to support a project on sustainable construction materials, focusing on cement‑free geopolymer concrete and the utilization of industrial solid waste in concrete production.
Responsibilities- Conduct literature review and surveys on related topics.
- Design and fabricate concrete mix samples.
- Prepare, cast and test specimens according to the research plan.
- Collect and analyze experimental data.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications.
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in concrete mix design and laboratory work (casting, testing, measurement).
- Proficiency in data collection and statistical analysis.
- Intent to pursue an MSc in Civil Engineering at UAEU, as applicable.
- Demonstrated interest in research and ability to meet tight deadlines.
