We are looking for a hands‑on expert in brine management technology and mineral recovery, with direct experience in pilot or commercial deployment of brine treatment, mineral recovery, ZLD, desalination, produced water, or industrial water treatment technologies. The role will focus on supporting technology design, pilot validation, scale‑up planning, and commercial readiness. The person should be comfortable reviewing process design, equipment choices, operating assumptions, pilot results, and scale‑up requirements, and should be able to identify technical and operational risks early.

They should also bring practical commercial awareness of recovered minerals, including product specifications, offtaker requirements, regional demand/supply dynamics, and route‑to‑market considerations.

This is a 12‑month contract position.

• Support technology design, pilot planning, validation, scale‑up, and commercial readiness.
• Review process configuration, equipment choices, operating parameters, mass balance, and process flow.
• Identify technical and operational risks. Help diagnose equipment failure, underperformance, or poor recovery/purity results.
• Assess realistic recovery rates, purity levels, process limitations, reagent needs, energy needs, and operating constraints.
• Define what needs to be proven during pilot work to support scale‑up and deployment.
• Support discussions with technical partners, equipment suppliers, clients, and potential offtakers.
• Provide input on product specifications, offtaker requirements, regional market dynamics, and route‑to‑market considerations for recovered minerals.

• Hands‑on experience in brine management, brine treatment, mineral recovery, ZLD, desalination, produced water, oil & gas brines, bitterns, salt lake brines, or related water/mineral recovery processes.
• Direct pilot or commercial deployment experience.
• Practical understanding of equipment performance, scaling, fouling, corrosion, impurity management, process instability, downtime, and maintenance.
• Experience with technologies such as membrane separation, selective precipitation, crystallization, ion exchange, evaporation, or related processes.
• Ability to review process flows, operating data, lab/pilot results, equipment performance, and scale‑up assumptions.
• Commercial awareness of product quality requirements, offtaker constraints, pricing, regional market dynamics, and route‑to‑market challenges for recovered minerals.

• GCC or MENA experience is strongly preferred, but not mandatory.
