Sr. QC Inspector - Civil - Walkin Chennai

Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to civil engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., IS, BS, ACI) throughout project execution.
• Conduct thorough inspections of ongoing civil works including formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, and structural steel erection to identify deviations from quality standards.
• Manage and coordinate testing of construction materials such as concrete, steel, aggregates, and soil to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and daily progress logs documenting findings and corrective actions.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in civil quality control inspection, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as CSWIP, ASNT Level II (NDT if applicable), or equivalent recognized quality certifications.
• Proven experience working in EPC or construction environments, demonstrating a strong understanding of project life cycles.

• Experience in Pipeline, Oil & Gas, EPC, Flowline, Wellhead, Brownfield, Upstream, Onshore.
• Preferred Gulf / ADNOC experience.
• Clean-shaven policy applicable.
• Candidates with Metro, Building, or Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible.

Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, the limit may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.

A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
