Overview
Penspen is urgently looking to hire Lead Construction Engineer
- Mechanical to oversee construction activities for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will lead site execution, manage contractors, ensure HSE and quality compliance, monitor project progress, and deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Lead and supervise offshore mechanical construction activities in accordance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and offshore teams to ensure efficient project execution.
- Manage contractors and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Review construction procedures, method statements, work packs, and mechanical completion documentation.
- Monitor construction progress, resolve technical issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and offshore regulations.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project handover activities.
- Prepare construction reports and provide regular progress updates to project management.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 to 18+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction, with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Minimum 5+ years of offshore experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of offshore process and utility systems.
- Familiarity with international standards.
- PMC and EPC Offshore projects experience will be preferred.
- Previous experience in ADNOC projects in a similar role would be an added advantage.
