Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory (ASMEF), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, is a leading provider of engineering, fabrication, construction, and ship repair services for the oil & gas and marine sectors. Our operations rely on a modern fleet of plant, machinery, and vehicles to support complex projects safely and efficiently. We are seeking an experienced PMV Lead to oversee the planning, operation, maintenance, and optimization of all Plant, Machinery & Vehicles (PMV) assets across the organization.

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced PMV Lead to manage the safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation of all plant, machinery, vehicles, tools, and facilities that support ASMEF’s yard and project operations. The successful candidate will lead the PMV team, oversee preventive maintenance programs, manage equipment utilization, coordinate procurement and hiring activities, and ensure compliance with company standards and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all Plant, Machinery & Vehicles (PMV) operations to support yard activities and project execution.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor PMV activities in line with project schedules and operational requirements.
  • Review operational requirements, estimate resource needs, and execute PMV activities within approved budgets.
  • Coordinate equipment, machinery, vehicle, and tool requirements from all departments and arrange procurement or rental when required.
  • Prepare Purchase Requisition s (PRs) for PMV‑related equipment, machinery, tools, and services.
  • Review commercial enquiries and provide technical and commercial inputs for PMV scope, equipment selection, and cost estimates.
  • Coordinate with the Stores Department for receipt, issuance, maintenance, and return of portable equipment and tools.
  • Ensure all plant, machinery, vehicles, and equipment remain in safe, reliable, and operational condition through effective preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules and maintain complete maintenance records.
  • Monitor equipment performance, breakdown trends, and maintenance KPIs while preparing periodic management reports.
  • Ensure availability of critical spare parts and optimize inventory levels to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Manage fleet maintenance, statutory inspections, annual registrations, licensing, and regulatory compliance for all vehicles and equipment.
  • Coordinate temporary hiring and off‑hiring of equipment, machinery, vehicles, and tools to support project requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance of plant facilities, including electrical systems, HVAC, water systems, CCTV, telecommunications, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Maintain PMV documentation, equipment registers, statutory certificates, maintenance records, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate calibration of lifting equipment, tools, instruments, and measuring devices with approved third‑party agencies.
  • Support waste management initiatives, including disposal of obsolete equipment and scrap materials.
  • Prepare PMV utilization, performance, maintenance, and cost reports, providing recommendations for asset optimization and future acquisitions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop PMV Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians, and support personnel to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Coordinate closely with Engineering, Production, Projects, Procurement, Stores, QA/QC, and HSE teams to ensure uninterrupted operational support.
  • Manage departmental administration, including manpower planning, attendance, leave management, training, competency development, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, statutory regulations, and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience: Minimum 12–15 years of relevant experience in Plant, Machinery & Vehicle management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role within Oil &…
