Senior Corrosion Engineer
Abu Dhabi
The Senior Corrosion Engineer will provide specialist corrosion engineering support for ADNOC Upstream Onshore projects during the FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases. The role is primarily office-based and involves developing corrosion control strategies, material selection, corrosion monitoring, and integrity management solutions to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of upstream oil and gas facilities, including Early Production Facilities (EPF).
Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's Degree is an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as NACE CP (AMPP) or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Minimum 15 years of corrosion engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in PMC projects
. - Mandatory experience in FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC phases of upstream Oil & Gas projects.
- Experience in ADNOC Group projects
. - Strong practical experience in Upstream Oil & Gas and Early Production Facilities (EPF) projects is mandatory.
- Experience in brownfield modifications and operating facilities is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting sour gas and high-pressure/high-temperature (HPHT) facilities is an advantage.
- Corrosion engineering and integrity management.
- Material selection for upstream oil and gas facilities.
- Sour service material selection in accordance with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156

, and relevant ADNOC engineering standards. - Corrosion monitoring techniques, corrosion inhibition, cathodic protection principles, and internal corrosion management.
- Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodologies and corrosion assessment.
- Material selection for piping, pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and process equipment.
- Familiarity with corrosion modelling software and engineering applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering document management systems.
